Hello gang!
Monday groaned past beneath a post-wedding cloud, so there’s pretty much nothing to say about our last full day in America. Sorry!
Today we fly home. We fly out of Raleigh at 2pm (7pm in the UK), en route to New York JFK airport. Hopefully three hours will be enough to negotiate the transfers hall in New York – it was a slow process getting past immigration on the way in. From JFK we fly to Heathrow, landing at 6am UK time (1am according to our body clocks). Charlie and Ian then fly to Glasgow mid-morning, so we should be in our beds by Wednesday lunchtime.
Our backpacks are just about ready to go for the last time. It’s been an eventful six months!
